15-2-2004 NHL All-Star Game
Team North America has won the annual NHL All-Star game with a score of 10-9. Game MVP was Martin St. Louis.

A native of Canada, Martin St. Louis, was originally signed as a free agent to the NHL. He has appeared in 363 NHL games during his career, notching 122 goals and adding 167 assists along with 62 penalty minutes. The 28 year old right wing has played 51 games with the Tampa Bay Lightning this season, totalling 29+34=63 with 6 PIM.

14-2-2004 NHL All-Star Skill Competitions
The annual All-Star event kicked off today with the skill competitions. Team North America and Team World competed in six different races and the fans got to see their stars shine.

Team World won the puck control relay with a team of Pavel Datsyuk, Andrei Markov and Zdeno Chara.

Chris Pronger of Team North America won the fastest skater competition, beating Pavel Bure in the final.

Owen Nolan of Team North America won the hardest shot competition with a result of 89 MPH, beating Fredrik Modin in the final.

Henrik Sedin of Team World won the accuracy shooting competition, beating Jarome Iginla in the final.

Brent Krahn of Team North America won the goalie competition (pass&score), beating Kari Lehtonen in the final.

Team North America won the breakaway relay with a team of Joe Thornton, Martin St. Louis and Jarome Iginla.

The yearly clash between Team North America and Team World will take place tomorrow.

Starting lineups for the 2004 All-Star Game have been decided according to votes given by hockey fans around the world.
